Well readers! Two news stories are much hyped and making it around the country now, one the Reliance Jio story and the other is Demonetization. Right?? While on one hand Reliance, the leading Telecom Industry in the country has created much hype with millions of user base by launching free Jio Data and Voice Plans, conversely Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created a new era with the demonetization effect. The Indians are deeply affected by both these incidents.
However, we have again a good news for you. Guess what! This time but from the other leading Telecom operator, Airtel. Airtel just of late declared two new unlimited voice call plans across the Country which will also include additional benefits. Yes, this decision has been taken by Airtel following the 3 months extension of Reliance Jio’s free data, text and voice call plan which the company named “Jio Happy New Year Offer”. But for the time, Airtel has declared the plan only for the Delhi circle and ensures that the prepaid packs may vary from region to region.
The plans are only meant for the Prepaid customers and will come in two packs i.e. Rs. 345 & Rs. 145. Using the Rs. 345 plan, you can make unlimited local and STD calls to any number across the country. On the other hand, the Rs. 145 pack will bring you the opportunity to make free calls only to Airtel users across the country. Additional benefit in the Rs. 345 pack include 1GB of 4G ready data (for 4G phones) which you can use for everyday internet browsing. The general handset users will get 50MB additional data for Internet browsing and accessing light social media applications.
Similarly, the Rs. 145 plan will pack 300MB of 4G ready data whilst the basic Smartphones will get 50MB data for Internet and Social Media browsing. Both these plans have 28 days validity and both will be beneficial for users who are deeply addicted to Airtel. As we said earlier the data plans will vary from region to region, Airtel has declared that in Kerala, users will get the data benefits only on 2G/4G networks.
