Steps to Flash Android 4.4.2 XXUGNG1 Firmware in Galaxy Note 3 LTE

Recently from Sammobiles, the official Android KitKat 4.4.2 firmware update for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 LTE  SM-N9005 got leaked. Here in this article you’ll come across the same update to apply on your device manually. This update is dubbed as XXUGNG1 and has many new features in lap. Besides, it has gone on floors in Spain and Romania and only for the Orange users. The firmware carries the product codes AMN & ORO respectively and is only available for the Orange Galaxy Note 3 LTE users of Spain & Romania. Procedure to manually update Note 3 LTE to KitKat XXUGNG1 Firmware

  1. First check all the above requirements are fulfilled and then proceed to download files. Download the Kies and install in your computer first.
  2. Then download the firmware package and odin in computer. Extract both the files and place on your desktop.
  3. Double click on Odin to launch in computer.
  4. Then switch off your Galaxy Note 3 LTE to enter it into download mode. To do that press VOL DOWN KEY+HOME+POWER button simultaneously. Press the VOL UP button to continue when you see a warning triangle on your device screen.
  5. Connect the device to computer via USB cable. The ID: COM box turns yellow after connecting the device. If this doesn’t happen then you might not have selected Kies option.
  6. Then select AP/PDA on the Odin screen and choose the tar.md5 file from the extracted firmware folder on desktop. Make sure that the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time check boxes are ticked in ODIN and the Re-Partition button is unchecked.
  7. After choosing the right options, click on Start in Odin box to perform the firmware update. The entire process will take 4-5 minutes and the phone will reboot automatically.
  8. After the pass message appears, detach the cable and you are all done.
