Yamaha has revealed the new Majesty S scooter and it will hit the roads of UK in the month of June 2014. It offers 3 colours –Silky white, Mat titan, Midnight Black to choose from.
The new Majesty S has a 125cc liquid cooled engine which delivers a maximum power of 8.8 KW at 7500 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.6 Nm at 7000rpm. The engine has 4 valves and has a single shaft balancer and stepless V belt automatic transmission system. It has electric starter system ans wet sump lubrication system. The engine delivers high performance and mileage. It weighs 148 kg. It has trendy 13-inch front and rear 5 spoke alloy wheel, horizontal rear shock absorber for high stability, side mounted radiator and 267mm front wave and 245mm rear wave hydraulic disc brakes for smooth and controlled braking on the roads.
It has a host of new and stylish features like LED position lamps, tail lights, three gauge instrument design, trip meter, analog tachometer and digital speedometer. It has a lot of underseat storage space to fit your helmet and many other items so you need not carry a bag to add weight to your back while riding. At the front of the scooter there is a glove box and a hook where you can store your bag It has large, flat foot board space and stepped dual seat that ensures maximum comfort for riding. It has a fuel capacity of 7.4 litres which gives a large range.
The scooter offers style, performance, power, economy and affordability so the new Majesty S is a high value for money scooter and is going to be the perfect choice for the urban dwellers. Yamaha Majesty is the 3rd scooter in 125 segment after Yamaha Xenter and D’elight. But there is no news that this urban scooter will be launched in India.
