HTC rolls out Desire 620 Dual SIM and Desire 620G Dual SIM handsets

HTC has launched  the Desire 620 Dual SIM and Desire 620G Dual SIM. The Desire 620 Dual SIM and Desire 620G Dual SIM  have been priced at TWD 6,990 (approximately 14,000) and at TWD 4,990 (approximately Rs. 9,990) respectively. The HTC Desire 620G Dual-SIM is being offered only in Marble White and Grey colour variants. The Desire 620 Dual-SIM is being offered in Grey, Milky-way and Santorini White colour variants. Currently, the company has no word on the smartphones’ global availability.

Both HTC Desire 620 Dual SIM and Desire 620G Dual SIM run the Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The handsets feature a 5-inch IPS display with HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution and get the Sense 6 UI. Both handsets have dimensions 150.1×72.7×9.6mm weigh 160 grams.  The smartphones comes loaded with 1GB of RAM. Speaking on the camera features, the smartphones sport a  8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a  5-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. The HTC Eye Experience package is included in the handsets. Some other camera features are Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection and panorama. The common connectivity features include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and A-GPS. The smartphones pack a 2100mAh removable battery inside .The smartphones feature dual front facing speakers to deliver better audio experience to the users.

The HTC desire 620 Dual SIM and the HTC 620G differ only in their chipsets, connectivity and internal storage memory expansion capacity. HTC Desire 620 Dual SIM is 4G enabled device, it is  powered by a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with Adreno 306 GPU and the memory can be expandable upto 128GB via microSD. While, The HTC Desire 620G Dual SIM is a 3G enabled device, it is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450-MP4 GPU and the memory can be expandable only upto 32 GB via microSD card.

HTC had rolled out over-the-air (OTA) the Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for its One (M8) users.  The Android 4.4.4 KitKat update for the HTC One (M8) arrived with HTC Eye Experience. Customers can check the availability of the OTA update by tapping on Settings>About Phone>Software Update on their smartphone.HTC also confirmed that four of its smartphones will be getting an update to the latest  Android 5.0 Lollipop soon. The smartphones that will be receiving the update are HTC One (M7), the HTC One mini, HTC One mini 2  and the HTC One (M8).
