Intex has rolled out three new Aqua-series smartphones in India. These are the Aqua Star, Aqua Star HD and Aqua Star Power . The smartphones are priced starting from Rs 6,990. The aqua Star HD is the costliest among the three.

All the three smartphones are powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processors,they are loaded with 1GB of RAM . The new Intex smarthones come with 8GB of inbuilt storage and have support for Dual Sim. All the three smartphones run Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box..Connectivity features of these new Intex Aqua series smartphones are also the same which includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, Micro-USB, and 3G.lThe three Aqua series smartphones come preloaded with apps such as like NewsHunt, Zapak, OLX, Matrabhasha, Intex Play, Intex Games Club, Xender and Opera Mini browser.
Though, the smartphones come with the 1.3 Ghz quadcore processor, but are different as the Aqua Star Power comes loaded with a MediaTek MT6582 SoC. While the Aqua Star and Aqua Star HD receive the MediaTek MT6582M SoC. The Aqua Star Power will be available in Blue, Black, and Grey colours., the Aqua Star HD will come in Grey and leather Black colours and the Aqua Star will be offered in Black and White;

Intex Aqua Star Power sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display . The smartphones houses comes a 3000mAh battery. The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and it also has a 2-megapixel front camera and offers OTG support.
The Intex Aqua Star HD features a5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS OGS display. The smartphone packs a 1800mAh battery . It sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera
The Intex Aqua Star gets a 5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display. It packs a 200mAh battery. It features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. Intex has announced that the Intex Aqua Star will be available at Rs. 6,990, the Intex Aqua Star HD at Rs. 8,690, and you can purchase the Aqua Star Power at Rs. 7,490.
