Micromax has launched a new smartphone called the Canvas Selfie.Micromax has confirmed that Canvas Selfie will hit the markets starting the second week of January. The smartphone will be offered in Mystic Blue and Angelic White colour variants.
It features a 4.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphones comes with a faux leather rear finish. The Canvas Selfie is a Dual SIM supporting device.
The Canvas Selfie is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core processor and comes loaded with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box . Micromax Canvas Selfie offers 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expandable upto 32 Gb via microSD card. It is backed by a 2300mAh battery. Currently, we have no knowledge on talk time and standby time offered by the battery. Connectivity features of the Canvas Selfie include Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G and Bluetooth 4.0.

Micromax had launched its new budget smartphone the Canvas Express. It is priced at Rs 6,999. The Canvas Express is available in two classy colours-Egyptian Blue and Shiny Silver. The Canvas Express sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixel) display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and comes with a 1GB of RAM. The Canvas Express offers 8GB of internal storage space which can be expanded upto 32 GBvia microSD card. It is dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) supporting device. The Micromax Canvas Express features a 5-MP primary rear camera with flash and the users will also get a 0.3-megapixel front facing camera. The connectivity features of this device include 3G,Wi-Fi,GPS,Micro USB and Bluetooth. The smartphone comes packed with A 1950mAh battery.
