Oppo has launched the new N3 smartphone in an event in Singapore .The handset is now on display on Oppo’s China website .The Oppo N3 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with a pixel density of 403ppi and the screen is protected by the corning gorilla glass 3. It has got dimensions 161.2x77x9.9mm and weighs 192 grams. The smartphone has support for Single SIM but, the company says that the Dual SIM variant will be arriving soon.
The N3 smartphone is powered by a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AA) processor and an Adreno 330 GPU. The smartphone comes loaded with 2GB of RAM. The N3 offers 32GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expandable upto 128 GB via microSD card . It runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with the Oppo’s new ColorOS 2.0.1 skin on top. The new Oppo smartphone features a notification light below the screen and is loaded with new Notification 2.0 software.
The Oppo N3 features a smart motorised swivel camera that is capable of tracking objects as they move, and can rotate up to 206 degrees. The camera sports a 16-megapixel 1/2.3-inch sensor with a pixel size of 1.34 micrometres ,Schneider Kreuznach-certified lens and Dual mode LED flash. The camera has to ability to shoot panoramas in up to 64-megapixels. It suppoerts4K video at 30 fps, 1080p video at 60 fps, 720p slow motion video at 120 fps. Other main camera features include, slow shutter, Ultra-HD, Colorful Night, Beautify, HDR, Panorama, Audio Photo, GIF mode, Double Exposure, Auto Panorama, Super Marco, After Focus and RAW. The new smart camera can act an both front and rear camera , it can also be operated by a finger-print sensor on the rear-side or from a Bluetooth based O-Click camera accessory.
The connectivity features of the Oppo N3 includes Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE and USB 2.0 . The smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery, The battery incorporates the Oppo’s VOOC rapid charging technology, which is claimed to recharge the handset from 0 percent to 75 percent in just 30 minutes. Like many other latest smartphones, The N3 also features a fingerprint sensor on the rear side .The fingerprint sensor can be used to protect photoswith fingerprint authentication with just a single swipe after clicking a photo. The sensor can also perform several other functions too.
The Oppo N3 smartphone has been priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 40,100).The oppo N3 smartphone with a smart camera has been priced at $649 (approximately 39,800) in the US. This handset will be rolled out soon in 20 more countries soon.
