It surprised nobody at all when the Mountain View giant just a few hours ago called a press-conference and revealed two of it’s forthcoming Nexus devices the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. There was already a lot of revelation on both these devices before and that’s why the revelation was not a shock for the users. But definitely it pleased everyone as they were waiting for an official confirmation. These two new devices have been co-developed by LG and Huawei in joining hands with Google. Whilst LG device is an affordable and mid-ranged device, the Nexus device from Huawei is a high-end phone and a true flagship.
During their leaks the Huawei Nexus 6P was revealed much in terms of specs and features. The Smartphones are in leaks for almost the last six months and hence you might have known much about the device features. But here I would like to cast a light on the same. Beginning with the Huawei Nexus, it is designed with a metal body with metal frames and features a Quad HD AMOLED screen 5.7-inch screen and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor.
For memory reasons, the Smartphone features 32/64/128 GB built-in memory (no SDcard support)and supports 3GB of RAM. The Smartphone measures 159.4 x 77.8 x 7.3 mm and weighs just 178 grams. Similarly it packs a 12.3 MP rear cam with 8MP front camera for taking selfies. The handset packs a 3,450 mAh battery for power-pack performance and a USB Type C port for quick charging of your handset. It too has a finger-print reader on the back panel. Most importantly, it runs on the Android OS, v6.0 Marshmallow OS which is great in itself for enhanced and superior features.
On the other hand, the LG Nexus 5X features a 5.2 inches display with 16M colors and 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It carries a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with oleophobic coating for safety reasons. The Smartphone ids powered by a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 Quad-core 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53 processor with Adreno 418 GPU and packs 16/32 GB internal memory with no SDcard support. The Smartphone carries a 12MP primary camera 5MP secondary cam and runs on the out-of-the-box Android OS, v6.0 Marshmallow Operating System. The device packs a 2700 mAh non-removable battery and will be available on Black, White, and Blue color variants.
As revealed by Google on today’s press-conference, the pre-order of the Nexus 6P flagship will start on the Play Store starting from today. 32GB variant of the Huawei Nexus 6P will cost $499.99, the 64GB variant will cost $549.99 and the 128GB variant will cost $649.99. The device will be made available in three color variants i.e. Black, White, and Aluminum and pre-ordering the device, you will get $50 Google credit.
