Dear Samsung Galaxy SM-T819Y Smartphone users! Today I have pretty good news for you. Want to know what? Now you can flash the advanced Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS to your Samsung Galaxy SM-T819Y tab. The update is rolled over the air in Panama, Trinidad and Tobago, and Brazil this month. Because the update is rolled via OTA, so it’s the primarily recommended update process. But if you want not to wait till the update notification hits your device panel, then the Manual update method is for you. But before starting the update, you need to root your device and install CWM Recovery on it. Alo you must take a look on the pre-requirements below.

Requirements

- Deactivate the antivirus or any other security protection from your PC for the time since that might create hindrance in the installation process.
- Ensure that your Galaxy tab has at least 70% power back up before you initiate the process to avoid any inconvenience during the installation.
- Enable the USB debugging option in your Smartphone. To enable go to the Settings options. Forget not to disable USB Debugging post update.

Steps to Update
- First of all download the above mentioned files and then extract the Marshmallow file to the desktop of your PC.
- Next switch off your Samsung Galaxy SM-T819Y tab and move it into download mode by long press & hold of the Volume Down Key+Home Buttom+Power Button. Press the Volume Up button again to continue as soon as you see a warning triangle sign on your display.
- Then connect your Smartphone to your PC via USB.
- After select the “PDA/AP” button on ODIN screen and select the file with .tar.md5 extension. Ensure that the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time checkboxes are ticked in ODIN and the Re-Partition button is unchecked.
- Double check the settings and hit the START button to begin the update process.
- Wait for sometime and you will see the PASS message on the ODIN screen with green backdrop, once the flashing is complete. Disconnect your Samsung Galaxy SM-T819Y from the PC after your Galaxy Tab restarts. It will take around 5-10 minutes of time.
