How to Install Google Play to Your Xiaomi, Redmi 1S Smartphone

Today I am back again with the tips that will help you install the Google Play Store on your Xiaomi Redmi 1S Smartphone. This article will be basically helpful to the Xiaomi owners who have purchased their devices from the Chinese market. Since the Xiaomi devices from Chinese market don’t support Google Play, hence you have to install apps from the MI Market only. But as you know how much beloved the Google Play Store is to users; that’s why I decided to let you know the procedure for adding the Play Store to your Xiaomi Redmi S1 Smartphone device.

Well, nothing much you have to do for adding the app to your Smartphone device. You have to just download one APK from the link we give you and install it on your device. Then you are all done. But all credit for this APK goes to XDA developers since they brought this to us. The procedure is easy and performs cent percent. Now let’s take a look on the procedure to install the APK on your Redmi 1S device.

Steps to Install Google Play in Xiaomi  Redmi 1S

  • First of all You have to enable the Unknown Sources button in your Xiaomi Redmi 1S device before starting the installation process. Reason to do this is to download third party apps to your device. To enable the button go to Settings =>Security =>Unknown Sources in your Smartphone.
  • Now visit this link on your Smartphone and download the most recent APK for the Google Play Store.
  • Once the Google Play APK is downloaded to your Smartphone, tap on it and follow the procedure on the screen to install it on your device.
  • The Google Play Store App has been successfully installed on your Smartphone. Now launch the app from the app drawer of your Smartphone and use your Google User ID and Password to log into the Play Store.
