Lyf brand of Reliance Retail has launched two new smartphones in India i.e. Flame 2 and Wind 4. The company official website has enlisted both the new Lyf smartphones. The Lyr Wind 4 is listed at Rs. 6,799 and Lyf Flame 2 is priced at Rs.4,799. Both the smartphones are soon available in India across retail stores.
The Lyf Flame 2 and Lyf Wind 4 smartphones come featured with 4G LTE bands support in India i.e. FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz.) respectively. These two smartphones also support VoLTE ( voice over LTE) with HD voice calling. The Lyf Flame 2 runs on the powerful Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and boasts of a 4-inch WVGA display with a 480×800 pixels resolution and the pixel density of 245ppi.

According to the official information revealed by the manufacturer, both SIM slots of the handset are 4G enabled, but at a time only one SIM can be used for 4G while the other will work only on 2G. The handset is packed with 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735M SoC processor and is supported by 1GB of RAM. The Smartphone runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop, packs 8GB inbuilt storage space which can further be expanded up to 32 GB via a micro SD card.
The Lyf Flame 2 packs a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. Additional features of the Camera includes Face detection and smile detection modes. The connectivity options of the device are GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. The Lyf Flame 2 weighs 145 grams and measures 124.2×64.8×10.3mm. The battery is 1500mAh to give user 8 hours of talktime and up to 190 hours of standby on 4G network. For the time, it will be available in Black and White colours.
Conversely, the Lyf Wind 4 comes with dual-SIMs (Micro-SIM + Micro-SIM), a bigger 5-inch HD screen with 720×1280 pixels resolution. This handset also runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop Operating System. Unlike the Flame 2, it too supports 4G on one SIM at a time. Processor of the phone is 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) and it packs 1 GB of RAM. The Smartphone is empowered with an 8-megapixel autofocus primary camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel rear camera.
Apart from 4G connectivity, other connectivity options of the device include GPRS/EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. The Lyf Wind 4 measures 144x72x8.9mm and weighs 146 grams. It is powered by a 4000mAh battery which is claimed to provide up to 28 hours of talk time and the up to 630 hours of standby.
