Prior to this we had seen the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.7.0 getting adorned with a limited edition Red Garnet livery and the same treatment was also expected for its successor, the Galaxy Tab 3.7.0. And as per the latest disclosure, the Galaxy Tab 3.7.0 is soon going to be adorned with the same red garnet and will be launched with a different avatar.
The news has been brought to us by Sammyhub and as per the info, the Galaxy Tab 3.7.0 will be soon seen in the market place being adorned with the red garnet, but the device will be restrained only within the US market. The report further mentions that the Galaxy Tab 3.7.0 will make debut in the US market on February 2nd and will be available in the US stores at a price tag of $199.99.
Well, there is nothing to say that the device will be identical in specs and features to the standard model. Still we would like to give you a brief on the same here. First of all, the device will carry a same 7.0 inch TFT touchscreen display with 16mm colors and will support a resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels. It will come powered with a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU and will run on the Android 4.1 jelly Bean Operating System. Apart, the device will support 1 GB of RAM and 8/16 GB of in-built storage space. Further you can also expand the storage space up to 64 GB via a microSD card.
The device packs a 3.15MP rear autofocus camera that supports 2048×1536 pixels resolution and carry special features such as geo-tagging. It too packs a 1.3 MP front camera that will help you to have a video chat with your near and dear ones. For connectivity, the device packs GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, Bluetooth, Infrared and USB etc. Most importantly, the device will be made available in both WiFi only and WiFi+3G variants.
