Tata Motors has launched a base variant of the power-steering equipped Tata Nano Twist model which is about Rs 36,000 cheaper than the top-end Tata Nano Twist XT variant. Tata Motors is an Indian multinational automotive manufacturing company having its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India and a subsidiary of the Tata Group. The budget friendly Tata Nano Twist XE variant has been priced at Rs 2.09 lakh. The new Tata Nano Twist XE is being offered in three body colours – Meteor Silver, Royal Gold, and Serene White.
The Tata Nano Twist XE is powered by a 0.6 litre 4 valve petrol engine churning out a maximum power of 37.5bhp and the highest torque stands at 51Nm. It comes with MPFI fuel supply system. The engine is coupled with a 4- Speed gearbox.
The exterior features of the Nano Twist XE include all black front and rear bumpers, halogen headlamps, tinted frontwind shield, outer rear view mirrors and door handles. The interior features of the Twist XE are an Ebony black dashboard, basic fabric seats, electronic multi trip meter, digital odometer, power-steering and air-conditioning. Other features include low fuel warning light, height adjustable front seat belts, The car has got drum brakes at front and rear wheels. The Twist XE comes with a 15 litre fuel tank. The car gives a mileage of about 22.2kmpl in city roads and it is fitted with tubeless tyres.
While, the top-end Tata Nano Twist XT costs Rs 2.45 lakh. There are many features in the top end XT that are not seen on the Twist XE .The Nano Twist XT gets chrome accents, roof-mounted antenna, fog lamps, rear spoiler and the stylish wheel caps, keyless entry with central locking, power windows, in-dash audio system and rear parcel tray.
Tata Bolt with multi drive mode feature was launched earlier. The Tata Bolt car is being offered in eight variants, the XE, XM, XMS and XT in petrol and diesel variant both. The touchscreen Harman infotainment system offers features like SMS read outs, Bluetooth connectivity with voice integration, touch operated AC controls and a picture viewer. The Bolt features a 1.2 Revotron engine that produces a maximum power of 85bhp and a maximum torque of 140Nm. The diesel variant gets a 1.3 Quadra jet engine that delivers 75bhp of maximum power and 190Nm of maximum torque. The Tata Bolt hatchback is being offered in 5 colour variants- Platinum Silver, Dune Beige, Venetian Red, Pristine White and Sky Grey.
