Update Samsung Galaxy A3 to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop A300GXXU1BPF1 Firmware

Steps to Update

  • First of all check all the above requirements are fulfilled and then proceed to download files.
  • Then download the firmware package and odin on your PC. Extract both the files and place on the desktop of your PC.
  • Double click on Odin to launch on computer.
  • Then switch off your Samsung Galaxy A3 to move it into download mode. Do that by pressing the VOL DOWN KEY+HOME+POWER buttons. Press the VOL UP button to continue when you see a warning triangle on your device screen.
  • Connect the device to PC via USB. The ID: COM box turns yellow after connecting the device to your PC.
  • Then select “AP/PDA” button on the Odin screen and choose the “tar.md5″ file from the extracted firmware folder on desktop. Make sure that the AutoReboot and F.Reset Time checkboxes are ticked in ODIN and the Re-Partition button is unchecked.
  • After choosing the right options, click on Start in Odin box to perform the firmware update. The entire process will take around 4-5 minutes and the phone will reboot automatically.
  • After the pass message appears, detach the USB cable and you are all done.

Congrats! Your Samsung Galaxy A3 has successfully been updated to the latest Android 5.0.2 OS. Following the said process, you must finish the task successfully.
