Android 13 Got a New code name after a Dessert starting with “T”

Google usually provides a common dessert name for each Android update-from Android 1.6 Cupcake to Android 9 Pie. The company has completed this Android 10 (Q) practice, but the dessert theme is still named for internal use. According to sources they have discovered that there is a dessert name in Android 13 or Android T, called Tiramisu.

XDA-approved developers found that AOSP’s commitment emphasized the change of name from “T to Tiramisu”. This is the first report of the internal code name of the next version of Android. To be clear, the next version of Android will only be called “Android 13”.

Google has been using the desert version of the Android system, a tradition that has existed for nearly a decade. But in Android 10 (also known as Android Q), Google decided to keep the traditional and Android names in the avatars we see today. The name of the desert is still used internally. Android 10 is Quince Tart, Android 11 is Red Velvet Cake, and Android 12 is Snow Cone.

These have been the dessert names publicly for all the Android versions so far:

  • Cupcake for Android 1.5
  • Donut for Android 1.6
  • Eclair for Android 2.0
  • Froyo for Android 2.2
  • Gingerbread for Android 2.3
  • Honeycomb for Android 3.0
  • Ice Cream Sandwich for Android 4.0
  • Jelly Bean for Android 4.1
  • KitKat for Android 4.4
  • Lollipop for Android 5.0
  • Marshmallow for Android 6.0:
  • Nougat for Android 7.0
  • Oreo for Android 8.0
  •  Pie for Android 9
  • Quince Tart for Android 10
  • Red Velvet Cake for Android 11
  • Snow Cone for Android 12
  • Tiramisu for Android 13

Tiramisu is a dessert with an Italian brown aroma. We can make it with coco flavor coffee soak in a mixture of eggs, sugar and mascarpone cheese. This recipe is suitable for many other types of cakes and desserts. Its origin is often dubious between the regions of Veneto, Italy, and Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Now Android 13 internal code name is Android 13 Tiramisu. Pretty Sweet, isn’t it!
