The Government of India has announced to launch CoWIN app for registration before initiation of vaccination in the country. Though the Indian Government has yet not officially launched the app, but you can get a number of CoWIN Apps in the Google Play Store. For your information, all the CoWIN apps available on Play Stores are completely fake. Name of the real app is Co-WIN which has not yet been enlisted on Play Stores. The Health Department has warned people not to download these fake CoWIN apps.

Vaccination Procedure
The Health Department has informed that the Co-WIN app can be downloaded from the Play Store free of cost. This app will have complete information about the vaccination process, administrative activities, vaccination workers and people who are to be vaccinated. The app includes an option for self-registration, even the head of a Panchayat can also apply for the vaccination of the people of his Panchayat using this app.

Vaccination in Three Stages
Vaccination in India will be done in three phases. In first phase, Corona vaccine will be given to healthcare professionals and in second phase to people associated with emergency services. People suffering from serious diseases will be vaccinated in the third phase. The State Governments have been endowed with the responsibility to collect data on these people. Registration for vaccination will be done using the Co-WIN app.
Five Modules of Co-WIN App
The Central government has fixed five modules for the Co-WIN app. The First is Administrative Module, Second Registration Module, Third Vaccination Module, Fourth Benefit Approval Module and Fifth is Report Module. First module is quite important as in this module, session for vaccine will be determined and the to be vaccinated people and managers will be notified.
You can self-register for vaccines in the Registration module. Any organization also can bulk register for vaccination in this module. A vaccination certificate based on the QR Code will be made available in the Benefit Approval Module. Sources convey that all people interested for vaccination will be vaccinated.
