If you are planning to buy a WiFi dongle, then nothing stands better than JioFi in the market at this moment. We don’t say this, the users say this. Rather the lucrative offers that Jio brings for its users upon recharge is really laudable. But you will be surprised to know that Jio has now started offering money on exchange of your old non-Jio dongle or modem. Yes, now you can exchange your old non-Jio dongle or modem for a brand new JioFi 4G hotspot device just at Rs.999.
On exchange, the device which actually costs Rs.1999 on the company’s official website will be given at just Rs.999. Above that the users will be given Rs.2200 cashback on offer. The users will be given the JioFi M2S hotspot device for exchange and this facility will only be available at the Jio and Reliance Digital stores. This offer is valid only for a limited period of time. But it’s not revealed till when.

On exchange, the buyers will give their old non-Jio device and its serial number which will be exchanged with the JioFi MSISDN number and a new JioFi hotspot unit. Once got, the users need to recharge it with a Rs.198 or Rs.299 recharge plan followed by the Rs.99 Jio prime membership for activation. Post activation, 44 vouchers of Rs.50 will be credited to the buyer’s MyJio account worth rs.2200 which can further be used for deduction of Rs.50 from the next Rs.198 or Rs.299 recharge. However, it’s still unknown what’s the validity of these vouchers.
The Rs.198 recharge will provide the users with 2GB data per day for 28 days whereas the Rs.299 recharge will provide 3GB 4G data per day for the same validity period. Users also get access to the company’s proprietary apps, 100 SMS per day and free STD and local calls.
