Karbonn Mobiles Officially Launches Karbonn Titanium S5 at Rs.11990/-

Karbonn Mobiles has finally launched its much-awaited quad-core powered smartphone, ‘Karbonn Titanium S5’. A couple of days ago, the smartphone was spotted on SnapDeal carrying a price tag of Rs.11990/- and thus its launch was predictable. Besides a Titanium series smartphone, the Titanium S5 is also said to be the successor of the Karbonn Titanium S1, which was launched a few days ago.

However, the quad-core powered smartphone is expected to compete with other cost-effective quad-core smartphones such as Micromax A116 Canvas HD, Lava Xolo Q800, WickedLeak Wammy Titan II and more.

The dual-SIM Karbonn Titanium S5, in line with its name, boasts a 5 inch IPS multitouch capacitive display with qHD (540 x 960 pixels) resolution. Running on Android JB (v4.1), the smartphone is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The phablet has an 8 Megapixel autofocus camera at rear with LED flash and also a 2 Megapixel front-facing camera. Both cameras come with Zooming features and are capable of recording videos.

The on-board memory, which was earlier cloaked, is 4 GB and there is a 1 GB RAM as well. You can further expand the memory capacity (up to 32 GB) by attaching a microSD card. The smartphone supports all usual connectivity options like 3G, 2G (GPRS), GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth, USB, WiFi etc.

The supported sensors are accelerometer, proximity sensor and light sensor. Its battery is of 2000 mAh and it measures a dimension of 72.4 x 143.4 x 8.95 mm. If you want to know more about the smartphone, you can visit the official website or to buy it head over to SnapDeal.

Karbonn Titanium S5 Key Features:

  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
  • 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad-core processor
  • 8 MP autofocus camera at back with LED flash, 2 MP front camera

  • 2G (GPRS), 3G, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth, USB, WiFi

The smartphone is indeed a toughest rival to the Micromax’s record breaking smartphone, the A116 Canvas HD, which is currently unavailable, to be honest, it’s out-of-stock. So if you can’t wait for its latest shipment, then the Karbonn Titanium S5 is certainly the first choice.

However, if you are looking for another smartphone with a bit high features and specifications but in this price range, then we would recommend the WickedLeak Wammy Titan II.
