Samsung just introduced two new smartphones in India, the Galaxy A54 5G and Galaxy A34 5G. These phones were previously introduced in some global markets on March 15 and will be available for purchase in India from March 28 onwards. The phones run on Android 11 with the One UI 5.1 interface and are powered by octa-core processors. Both models feature Super AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Galaxy A54 5G comes in two variants – 8GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at Rs. 38,999 and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage priced at Rs. 40,999. On the other hand, the Galaxy A34 5G has a base variant of 8GB RAM + 128GB storage priced at Rs. 30,999 and an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant priced at Rs. 32,999. Customers can choose from Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, and Awesome Silver color options.
Starting March 16, customers can pre-order these phones on the Samsung website, with deliveries starting from March 28. Customers who purchase using select bank cards can receive a cashback of Rs. 3,000, and those who pre-order can purchase the Galaxy Buds Live for Rs. 999. The phones also have EMI options available.
The phones come with dual SIM (nano) support, Super AMOLED displays with full-HD+ resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Galaxy A54 5G has a 6.4-inch display, and the Galaxy A34 5G has a slightly larger 6.6-inch screen. Both phones feature triple rear camera units with an LED flash and a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens. They also have Nightography, which allows for brighter photos and videos in low light.
The phones come with 256GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. They also have 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The phones are equipped with sensors such as an accelerometer, light sensor, fingerprint sensor, gyro sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The phones come with a 5,000mAh battery that can last up to two days on a single charge. They are IP67-certified and have stereo speakers enhanced with Dolby technology. The Samsung Knox security system is also included with the phones.
