Now again the operator is on news of an impeding product launch that includes a pocket and budget-friendly 5G Smartphone and a laptop on 24 June, in its Annual General Meeting (AGM) that is scheduled to be held on June 24 at 2:00 p.m. At this 44th AGM, they are supposed to announce these new devices on virtual mode.
The rumours on Reliance rolling out 5G service by the mid-2020 is now going to be true. The top of the list Telecom Service provider is all set to roll out the 5G jio service with an affordable Smartphone. The previous year, Jio partnered with Google and developed an entry-level affordable Smartphone. This Smartphone will run on the Android GO operating system for which Google has become a 7.7% stake holder of Jio platform worth Rs. 33737 crores.
Jio Phone Rumoured specification
No doubt the Smartphone is going to be 5G operated and it will use the low-cost MediaTek 5G Chipset. The Jio Phone will resemble the existing phone in terms of design. While the Jio Phone comes packed with an alphanumeric keypad, the Jio Phone 2 is assumed to get a QWERTY keypad. Possibly, it may come up with touch in Smartphone.
Reliance jio is going to roll out the Android Go operating system that will come up with anti levels specification. The Jio Phone is coming with a price tag of Rs 2500. Jio will announce Jio Book, a laptop at the AGM meet 2021. Previously Reliance had come up with an affordable laptop. The expiry report suggested that the telecom company partnered with China-based BlueBank communication technology and develops this app lock. The laptop will run on the Android Go operating system which is the new OS by Jio. The device is speculated to be equipped with a Qualcomm processor and will offer a 1366 x76 resolution screen.
