Good news Creators! On Tuesday, YouTube has launched a new feature named “Super Thanks” which can be used to earn more money. According to reports, the YouTube viewers now can support their favourite channels by purchasing “Super Thanks” from YouTube.
Now the viewers while watching YouTube will see an animated GIF and after a purchase on a video page, a highlighted comment will appear in the comment section which will allow the creator to respond to the fan’s gift with a comment.
Now this feature is in beta version and is available only to thousand creators in 68 countries. But in the coming days it will be made available for all eligible creators across the globe.
At this moment, the fans can purchase gifts only on two price points i.e. $2 (Approx Rs.50) and $50 (Approx Rs.3730).
Through channel membership, fans are now able to pay for exclusive content and on live stream videos they are able to pay through Superchats. Now this new feature Super Thanks, an Alphabet streaming service will be an additional source of income for the creators.
