Honda CBR650R launched in India at 7.70 Lac rupees

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched its new middleweight segment sports bike CBR650R in India. The company started booking of this bike this February in 22 cities at a price tag of Rs.15,000. At first Honda showcased this bike in the 2018 EICMA show.

Price and Color

Honda has launched this bike in a couple of color variants i.e Grand Prix Red and Gunpowder black metallic. Price of this bike is Rs. 7.70 lac and this bike will be made available at 23 Honda dealerships.

Engine and Features

If considered from Engine prospective, the Honda CBR650R is powered by a 4 cylinder 649cc Liquid Cooled, DOHC 16-valve engine which has the power to churn out 87 bhp and 60 nm of torque. In addition to this, the bike supports Assist/Slipper Clutch system and the Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) that maintains Rear Wheel Traction and can be switched off as per the riders.

Further the bike has Dual Channel ABS support which controls the bike better on every side of the road and it provides superior balance to your bike. Apart the bike packs a digital LCD display that lights better at night and its dual headlamp switches full LED light on.

According to Yadwinder Singh Gularia, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, HMSE said “It was just last week that we announced the establishment of new premium big bike business vertical – the Honda BigWing in India. CBR650R further strengthens the model line up to be sold and serviced under Honda BigWing,”
