The Hyundai Palisade is a concept of the HDC-2 Grandmaster which was showcased earlier this year in the Busan Motor Show. The forthcoming SUV measures almost metre in length which is longer than the Santa Fe and will have various feature modifications, but it will be based on the same platform as the later. Being this will be a unibody SUV, so it will not be comfortable for all rides, specially the ones the Toyota Fortuer is comfertable with.

You can compare the Kia Telluride to be of equal standard to the Hyundai Palisade as both belong to the same class in terms of build and features. The Kia Telluride was first showcased in the 2016 Detroit Auto Show and soon turned the eyeball of many. This is a hybrid vehicle powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine with an overall output of around 400PS. The Kia Telluride concept further features an AWD setup, runs on 22-inch wheels, and has a wheelbase of 3081mm.

Further the Telluride concept is loaded with features which includes wireless smartphone charging, one large sunroof, one fingerprint-activated push-button start and a touch-sensitive second-row media-control band and for music it supports a 7-speaker Harman Kardon system with wireless headphones. Though nothing has perticluarly been revealed by Hyundai for the Palisade concept, but equivalent features to the Kia Telluride can be expected in it being it comes in the same class.

But what’s most anticipating is that if the SUV is going to be launched in India! As per prior conformation, the Hyundai Palisade will be made available as a left-hand drive model initially and hence it might not be launched in the Indian market. But it’s also possible that the company might restructure it to sell in the Indian market, but if so happens then it will take a more couple of years to be made avilable in the Indian market.
