Update Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 Wi-Fi SM-T110 to Android 4.2.2 ZSUANH1 Firmware via Odin

The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 Wi-Fi SM-T110 recently got update with ZSUANH1 firmware. If you were not lucky enough to get the update over the air then here is the Odin procedure to update your device. The users having problem in the current firmware should update it quickly. Through this article you’ll able to update the firmware easily by downloading few required files and will hit the update. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 Wi-Fi has a 7 inch Super TFT touchscreen with screen resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels. The device supports number of connectivity options such as Wifi, Bluetooth,  EDGE, WLAN & GPRS.  It holds a Dual-core 1.2 GHz processor with Vivante GC1000 GPU. The device runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean and now  got upgraded to 4.2.2 Android Jellybean.

Requirement:

  2. Computer (Windows XP or Windows 7)
  3. Original USB Cable
  4. Enable the USB Debugging by settings>application>development and tick the USB Debugging box and do not forget to untick the box when updation is finished
  5. Backup all the personal data such as SMS, MMS, videos, music, apps, contacts, messages, apps etc present in phone using backup app to avoide data loss
  6. Power up the device if battery is low and hence it must be 70% or more to avoid automatic shut down

Procedure to Update Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 Wi-Fi with latest Jellybean 4.2.2

  1. First make sure that the device is not rooted then make the backup. If it’s rooted then you may get the exact result or not. Its totally unexpected.
  2. Then download the ZSUANH1 Jellybean 4.2.2 firmware for Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7.0 Wi-Fi in your computer and so also Odin. Do not rename it.
  3. After that extract both the downloaded files in the computer and place them in desktop for easy finding while updating.
  4.  Switch off the device and press the VOL DOWN KEY+ OK BUTTON+ POWER BUTTON to land device on download mode. When a warning message appears press the VOL UP KEY to move further to next step. If you return back into normal mode then again try it.
  5. Now double click on Odin to launch it and then with the help of USB cable connect the device to computer. Soon the ID:COM box in odin will turn yellow indicating that the device is connected. If this doesn’t happen then you might not have enabled the USB Debugging (Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging) and KIES.
  6. Now select PDA and choose the tar file that was download and extracted by you in beginning. Make sure that the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time check boxes are ticked in ODIN and the Re-Partition button is unchecked.
  7. Go ahead and click on Start. The update procedure will start and will take few minutes. The phone will off and reboot automatically. Then unplug the cable and go easy with the official updated.
