Acer launches the Iconia Talk S A1-724 Dual SIM tablet with voice calling

Acer has launched its dual-SIM voice-calling tablet, the Iconia Talk S A1-724 This tablet was unveiled last month by the company.  The Acer Iconia Talk S is being offered in Blue colour-variant. Windows 8.1 powered Acer Iconia Tab 8 W and Android 4.4 kitkat powered Iconia Tab 10 and Iconia One 8 were also introduced along with the Iconia Talk S A1-724 .

The tablet sports a 7-inch HD (800×1280 pixels) resolution IPS display that comes with a Zero Air Gap Anti-Fingerprint screen coating. The Acer Iconia Talk S A1-724 has dimensions 190×99.8×8.5mm and weighs 275 grams.

 This new Acer tablet gives good Audio with the help of its dual front-facing speakers. The Iconia tablet is powered A 64-bit 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor (MSM8916) . The tablet is loaded with 1GB of RAM. The graphics requirement is served by an Adreno 306 GPU. The Acer tablet offers 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be  expandable upto 128 GB via a microSD card. It runs the Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.

The Acer Iconia Talk S A1-724 features a 5-megapixel rear camera and theire is also a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calls. The Acer Iconia Talk S A1-724 tablet supports Dual SIM. The connectivity features of the Iconia Talk S tablet  include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi  and GPS . This Acer tablet packs a a 3780mAh battery.

The tablet for now is only available in Taiwan at a price of TWD 7990 (approximately Rs. 15,900). Currently, there is no official report about the global availability of this device from the company.

Last month, Acer had introduced two new laptops with a 4K display – the Aspire V Nitro Black Edition  and  the Aspire Switch 12.The Aspire V Nitro Black Edition sports a 15.6-inch 4K display resolution . It is priced at $1,499.99 (roughly Rs. 92,000) in the US. The laptop comes with a massive 16GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD and a 1TB hard drive.The laptop is Powered by a 4th generation Intel Core i7-4710HQ processor (4 cores, 8 threads, 6MB cache, 2.5GHz base clock up to 3.5GHz with burst), the Aspire V Nitro Black Edition’s graphics are served by a dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX860M GPU. The laptop also offers 4 built-in speakers powered by Dolby Digital Plus Home Theatre technology and Acer’s BYOC (Build Your Own Cloud) functionality to the users.
