iQOO, the Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer is gradually emerging as a market leader in Smartphone manufacturing across the globe. Now the company has come up with the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor enabled Smartphone iQOO 12 which has been launched in China. Post China unveiling, the company is planning to launch it in four Global markets including India. The other three international markets are Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. The Smartphone is set to launch in India on 12 December and might be a threat to the Smartphone giants like Samsung and OnePlus with its “world first ” feature.
iQOO 12 Features and Specs
The iQOO 12 boasts of a a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with fast 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K (2800x1260p) resolution with 2160Hz PWM dimming support. For superfast experience, you get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS4.0 storage. The Indian model runs on Vivo’s Origin OS 4.0 based on Android 14 while the Global variants runs on Funtouch OS 14.
Besides, the iQOO 12 packs 50-megapixel and 64-megapixel sensors behind a 23mm wide, 150-dgree ultrawide, and 70mm periscope-style telephoto lense which includes optical image stabilisation and 100x digital zoom like features. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. For selfies, the Smartphone has a 16-megapixel selfie cam.

iQOO 12 Price
While the iQOO 12 in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia costs 27,900 THB, RM 3,999 and IDR 10,999,000 respectively for the 16GB/512GB variant, in India the same variant is expected to cost around Rs 57,999. Similarly, the 12GB/512GB variant is tipped to be priced at Rs 52,999 according to a recent Amazon leak.
