As we all know that Gionee is known for it super slim and stylish smartphones. Gionee has now launched the Elife S7 in India at an event in Hyderabad. The new Gionee Elife S7 has been priced at Rs 24,999 and comes with a thickness of just 5.5mm.
The new Elife S7 from Gionee features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Super Amoled display with a pixel density of 424ppi and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Gionee Elife S7 has the U-shaped design of the aviation-level aluminium magnesium alloy infused frame.
Speaking on the performance, the Gionee Elife S7’s performance is delivered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6572 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone offers non expandable internal storage of 16GB. The handset is a dual-SIM one with 3G+4G card (Nano-SIM) support. The Elife S7 runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop with company’s Amigo 3.0 UI on top.Talking on the camera features, the Gionee Elife S7 sports a 13-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash. The users will also get a 8-megapixel front facing camera to click high quality selfies.
The Connectivity options on the Gionee Elife S7 include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G LTE (TDD Bands 38, 39, 40; FDD Bands 3, 7), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, USB OTG and FM radio. The handset is backed by a non-removable 2700mAh battery, which according to Gionee enables the Elife S7 to last whole day. The battery is supported with an extreme mode. The extreme mode helps the last 10 percent of battery power last for another 33 hours 45 minutes of standby time. The Gionee Elife S7 will be available for purchase in White, Black and Blue colours soon. Gionee will be launching the the Elife E8 and also the M-series and P-series smartphones in India very soon.
Gionee had launched the Elife S5.1, in India last year. The handset features a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels. The Gionee Elife S5.1 runs Android 4.4.2 with Amigo 2.0 UI on top. It is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core Mediatek 6592 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It offers 16GB of non-expandable storage. Gionee Elife S5.1 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera too. The connectivity features of the smartphone are Micro-USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and OTG connectivity. The Gionee smartphone is backed by a 2050mAh battery.
