Pamper launches Smart Diaper, Will Notify when gets Wet

Now Pamper has been enlisted to the list of wearable devices. Pamper has launched a connected care system which is known as Lumi. The system supports sensors which will take guard of your child’s activites. Once the diaper is wet, the sensor will notify on the user’s mobiles.

With the help of an app it will also be informed, when your baby went to bed and how many times he got up during his sleep. The App will also have a doctor advised chart for breast feeding your baby. The app also includes all information about using the Smart diaper, but the company has not revealed anything about its price.

Besides, the company also has introduced Internet Connected Besenets, Smart Night Lights and Pacific Bottles which can be used to track the feeding of your child. According to researchers, by 2024 the Baby Monitor market will be worth 2.5 billion dollar. The company also has launched a new app which can produce the voice of parents and the child feels that his moether is at hand.

Now answering the question of data privacy, PAmper said that the data is completely encrypted though two-factor authentication is not activated yet. But it’s obvious that Lumi is the first world-class tech diaper.

Before this in 2016, Google had applied for a patent for a finished product to check sewage. Similarly, a Korean company Monit, has partnered with Huggies for smart diaper sensors.

While the experts opine that due to sensors the children can be tracked from childhood, conversely question arises on security matters. From the sensors the style, weight and cloth sizes also can be measured.
