The wait is finally over, Tata Motors has launched yet another affordable and feature packed car in the Indian markets that is the New Tata Punch. The new mini-SUV is a successor to the popular Tata Punch.
It is worth mentioning here that, the car has received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP (New Car Safety Assessment Program) On its X platform ‘Tata Motors Cars’ informed that, “Safety is in the PUNCH’s DNA, and we’re staying true to it.

Engine: Punch gets the option for a turbocharged petrol engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox. It is likely to have a 1.2 litre engine and a CNG variant also.
Safety: The Punch will get some exciting new features, with the most notable being the availability of a 360-degree camera and the much awaited feature the blind spot monitoring offered from Adventure trim.

Features and Specs: The base variant of the car will house six airbags, LED headlamps, two drive modes that is city and eco, it will be powered with the Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Remote keyless entry, TPMS and the stylish illuminated logo on the steering wheel.
The upper variants will have in addition to the above features: rear AC vents, steering-mounted controls, front centre armrest, rear defogger and day and night auto-dimming Inside Rear-View Mirror (IRVM)
The top most model will have in addition to all the above features: voice-assisted electric sunroof, LED fog lamps with cornering function, 7.0-inch digital cluster, wireless smartphone charger, auto-dimming IRVM and iRA connectivity.
Colours and Price: Punch facelift is likely to be offered in six different variants and six different colours namely, Coorg Clouds, Pristine White, Bengal Rouge, Caramel, Cyantific Blue and Daytona Grey.
Prices for the New Tata Punch currently range from Rs 5.59 lakh to Rs 9.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The car has been launched on January 13, 2026.
