The leading Cupertino based tech major Apple unveiled an exciting lineup for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Outgoing Apple CEO Tim Cook addressed the gathering on the occasion. Cook shared an update on his X handle and wrote, “the next generation of Apple Intelligence powers an entirely new Siri: making the apps and experiences you rely on across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Vision Pro more personal and helpful than ever.”
He has further updated his X handle about child safety and written, “We believe in helping families create safer digital experiences. With our updated child safety features, parents can easily manage what their kids can see, who they can communicate with, and when they have access to apps” It is worth mentioning here that Apple has added that, Throughout the week, developers around the world can connect with Apple engineers, designers, and evangelists, and watch more than 100 sessions that will help them discover the newest enhancements to build platform-differentiating apps and games across Apple products. The session will start June 9 onwards.
Smarter Siri Powered By AI

LLM Siri would be able to hold conversations and provide human-like responses to questions, plus the assistant would be capable of completing complex tasks, say reports. However the exact date of release is yet to be confirmed. It is believed that the update or in other words the fully overhauled Siri 2.0 is expected to be officially unveiled at Apple’s WWDC event to be held in June.
It is likely that Apple may drop support for the iPhone 11 series and second-generation iPhone SE. If this is true then, iOS 27 would require an iPhone 12 or newer. Further, the full suite of Apple Intelligence is likely to be limited to newer devices that is the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 lineup and future models.

It features a deeply-integrated Dynamic Island UI, which can pull from on-device knowledge to get things done. There will also be a standalone Siri app where users can continue their conversations.”
