The iconic Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been launched in its 2026 edition. From its powerful 296 cc Parallel Twin engine and superb-handling chassis to its impressive large-body Ninja styling, everything about the Ninja 300 has been designed to offer riders performance, ride quality and comfort beyond its class.
Engine of the 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 300
The Company proudly claims that the bike is the smoothest in the segment 296cc Parallel Twin engine produces smooth, torquey power at low and medium rpm and powerful acceleration at high rpm. Smooth power delivery and strong low-end torque facilitate slow-speed manoeuvres.
Further, the bike offers both a high level of control when making minute throttle adjustments and a gratifying rush of acceleration in the lower rpm ranges, while low vibrations care of a balancer, and ample top end offer comfortable highway cruising.
Like the Ninja ZX-10R and Ninja ZX-6R, the new Ninja 300 uses dual throttle valves. In addition to giving natural, linear throttle response, dual throttle valves also contribute to high performance, combustion efficiency and fuel economy.
The superbike boasts of a assist and slipper clutch. Based on racing technology, the A&S clutch acts as both a back-torque limiter and a self-servo mechanism that enables a lighter clutch lever pull.
Advanced Technology of the bike
Innovative Kawasaki technology like the patented radiator fan cover located behind the radiator directs hot air down and away from the rider, significantly increasing comfort when stuck in heavy traffic. Redirecting the air also helps keep the tank, frame and other parts that contact the rider cooler, further increasing rider comfort.
Steel-tube diamond frame offers high strength and high durability both essential in a high-performance frame. Rear section of the frame is mounted at a flatter angle to offset the gain in seat height due to the larger rear tyre.
With its large-volume bodywork, the Ninja 300 gives the impression of a larger machine – an image reinforced by numerous styling cues from the other flagship Ninja models. From its aggressive dual headlights to its sharp, minimalist tail cowl, every surface of the Ninja 300 was painstakingly sculpted to ensure a high level of fit and finish, impressive silhouette and undeniable Ninja presence.
With its slightly forward-slanting seat and wide, raised handlebars, the Ninja 300 ergonomics were selected to accommodate a wide range of riders. The natural riding position is ideal for sport riding or riding with a passenger, in the city or on the highway.
A large-diameter ø290 mm front petal disc brake operated by a dual-piston caliper delivers powerful braking and a natural feel at the lever. A ø220 mm petal disc and dual-piston caliper slow the rear wheel.
A large, analogue-style tachometer offering high legibility and great looks is complemented by a multi-function LCD screen with speedometer, clock, fuel gauge, dual trip meters, odometer and Economical Riding Indicator.
Inspired by the legendary Ninja ZX-10R, the new floating-style windscreen on the Ninja 300 not only adds a sharper supersport look but also improves wind protection and enhances rider comfort—especially during highway rides. Designed to deflect airflow efficiently, it helps reduce wind fatigue, making every ride more enjoyable and confidence-inspiring.
The bike has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 3.17 lakh and will be available in two colour options that is: Lime Green and Candy Lime Green or Ebony. However in the 2025 version there were three colours on of which has been discontinued this year.
