Jaguar India had launched the Jaguar XJ 3.0L Diesel LWB recently this year at 92.10 lakh (ex showroom Mumbai). Now Jaguar India has announced the launch of the locally manufactured Jaguar XJ 2.0L Petrol LWB Portfolio at a price of INR 93.24 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai). Jaguar is currently owned by TATA , it has started the assembly of Jaguar XJ 2.0-litre Petrol LWB Portfolio at its Pune plant.

The new 2014 Jaguar XJ features a range of superior features inside . The new features incorporated in the Jaguar XJ are electrically adjustable rear seats with massage function in three intensity settings, you get increased rear headroom and the Rear Seat Entertainment with two 25.9 cm (10.2) LCD screens. It has electric rear side window blinds, soft door close, 825 Watt Meridian Surround Audio System. The car offers LED reading lights in the and newly designed business tables in the back. These features make this car a great choice for the luxury lovers.
The new Jaguar is powered by a 6 cylinder 2.0L i4 petrol engine which churns out a maximum power output of 177 kW @ 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 340 Nm@1,750 rpm. The engine is a turbocharged one. The engine combines three key powertrain technologies; high pressure direct fuel injection advanced low-inertia and twin variable valve timing . The new combo of these technology makes this car a real beast . The car gets spectacular turbocharging drivability with strong low rpm performance and a broad torque rich power band.
The Jaguar XJ 3.0 diesel which was launched earlier has 3.0 6 cylinder engine which delivers 275 PS of power and 600Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6 speed gearbox. It gets ventilated disc brakes at rear and front wheels. The fuel capacity of the vehicle lies at 83 litres.
