TVS Jupiter in Two more colour Options

TVS Motor Company has added two new color options in the portfolio of its family oriented scooter, Jupiter. Eyeing the upcoming festive season, TVS has decided to attract new customers to its family-oriented gear-less scooter Jupiter. In Indian market the scooter has been for quite some time and now it has decided to get new paint options as part of the update. The current paint options include Titanium Grey, Mercury white, volcano red and midnight black. The new paint option also includes Matt Beige and sparkling silver. The lots of scooter in the new colors have already started reaching in showrooms across India. These scooters are available without any premium charge over the regular paint options. The new color options in TVS Jupiter are being introduced without any mechanical tweaks. The segment has a number of close contenders and thus this update is expected to bring in more customers this festive season.

The new TVS Jupiter scooter has been in existence in the Indian market for over a year now and has helped a lot in establishing the company in the burgeoning gearless scooter market. The scooter is powered by 109.7 cc engines which will produce a maximum of 8 bhp of power and 8 Nm of torque. Other features also includes like full metal body, tubeless tyres, alloy wheels, external fuel fill, econometer, low fuel indicator, patented E-Z centre stand, pass-by-light switch mobile charging point and much more.

The scooter also features front telescopic forks and rear gas charged monoshock. In addition of these new colour options in Jupiter’s portfolio, the president and CEO of the TVS Motor Company, Mr. K.N.Radhakrishnan said, “This is yet another example of our deeper customer understanding and our commitment to deliver what customers want. Today, we have the widest and most comprehensive range of scooters straddling all segments of the scooter market with Jupiter targeting the male single user segment, Wego targeting the dual user segment and Scooty Zest, Pep+ and Streak catering for the women single user segment.”

Currently the scooter costs Rs 44,250 (ex-showroom Delhi)and the same price tag will continue for the new introduces as well. The scooter has its own dependable share in the market owing to the sales in almost a year long period. Now we shall wait to watch, what karizma the upcoming two color variants of the scooter will showcase.
