The name reflects a vehicle designed to anchor families through every journey symbolising balance, stability, and a powerful sense of togetherness. “The All-New Nissan Gravite is rooted in India’s spirit and shaped by the aspirations of 1.4 billion people,” is how the Company describes the new car.
In an official X post on the official handle of Nissan India the car has been described by the Company as, “Introducing Nissan Gravite – our all-new 7-seater B-MPV, and the first launch under Nissan Motor India’s refreshed product strategy.”
The post further says, “Set for a grand debut in Jan 2026, Gravite is Made-in-India, designed for Indian families, and marks the beginning of a multi-segment product offensive.” The car has been recently spied on the Indian roads while being tested.
The car has been made keeping in mind the big Indian families. It is a B-MPV meaning it is a B-Segment Multi-Purpose Vehicle. Another important input provided by Nissan in the X post is that, the Gravite is the first product of the Nissan Motor India’s refreshed product strategy.
