PureEV ecoDryft: Here’s India’s cheapest Electric Motorcycle

Electric two-wheeler manufacturer PureEV  has recently launched the cheapest electric motorcycle in India, the ecoDryft. Booking for the bike in India has started.

The demand of Electric Vehicles is on the rise and people have started showing up much interest for EVs. Following the trend, lots of EV manufacturers have emerged in the market and trying to launch the best in class EVs for users in affordable prices. One such electric two-wheeler Company PureEV  has recently launched the cheapest electric motorcycle in India, the ecoDryft. The Motorcycle has joined the company’s EV line-up and has been designed and manufactured at the company’s manufacturing centre in Hyderabad.

The ecoDryft is a coomuter-class motorcycle and is the cheapest electric vehicle in the country with a price tag of Rs.99,999. The bike is available in multiple color schemes that includes Grey, Black, Blue and Red. The bike can run at a top speed of 75 kmph with an on-road riding range of 130km. It’s offered in three riding modes.

The bike packs a 3kWh AIS 156 certified battery with a smart Battery Management System (BMS) and Bluetooth connectivity. Also it includes a CAN based charger, Controller, and an Instrument Cluster which will assist the motorcycle to receive firmware upgrades in the future.

Co-Founder and CEO of PureEV, Mr. Rohit says that before launching into the market, the ecoDryft  bike was tested across 100+ dealerships for two months and got phenomenal response. Booking for the bike is now open across the country and delivery of the first batch of the vehicles can be expected somewhere around March 1st week.
