Now it begins again, with the new Duster launch. The icon is back. This confirmation was given by the Company on its official X handle, ‘Renault India’. The Company also shared a teaser video of the stylish and sleek new Duster.
The new video shows the iconic Duster being driven across various terrains. It initially shows a little boy playing with a miniature Duster on a sofa and then the backdrop changes into that of a mountain with a real Duster that looks muscular and classy. The video further also shows a little girl playing with the miniature of the SUV and then it merges into a dense forest set up with Duster easily taking over the path.
And then the last part of the video shows the Duster covered with a red satin cloth with just the headlights and the taillights being visible. Then as the cloth flows off the beautiful Renault logo can be seen with a set of sleek connected LED taillamps giving a glimpse of the iconic SUV.
The official website of Renault rightly says about the Renault Duster relaunch, “More than a name, Duster is a symbol of Renault’s success story in India and around the world. A name that defined the SUV segment and inspired millions.”
The iconic Renault Duster was launched in India in 2012. It redefined the SUV landscape. The name was simple, distinctive, and easy to remember and was perfectly aligned with Renault’s spirit of strength and confidence.
The new generation Duster will be launch in India next year that is 2026. The upcoming SUV will be the first product in India under the brand’s International Game Plan 2027. A CMF-B platform is offered in the new Renault Duster. The SUV is bigger in size as compared to the older generation. In terms of style, the new Duster will be inspired from Bigster.
The Design:
In terms of design, the Duster will offer a muscular front and rear fenders along with heavy cladding across wheel arches and doors. The SUV gets diamond cut alloy wheels.
There will be a roof-mounted spoiler. The tail lights will be C-shaped in design. The end will feature the iconic Renault logo.
The Interiors:
The international version in case of the interiors will get an all-black or dual-tone theme. Other features include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital driver’s display, a 360-degree camera and much more.
There will be hexagonal-shaped AC vents. Renault might offer ADAS support in the new Duster.
The Engine:
The new Duster might be offered with a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine that is paired with either CVT or MT. There is also an option for 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that will be borrowed from the Kiger.
