Bajaj Auto has brought back the Pulsar 220F due to customer demand, with an updated engine that meets BSVI stage 2 emission standards. The motorcycle retains its familiar 220cc single-cylinder oil-cooled fuel-injected engine, producing a maximum power output of 20 hp at 8,500 rpm and 18.55 Nm of peak torque delivered at 7,000 rpm. The bike comes with a five-speed transmission, telescopic front forks, twin-sided shock absorbers at the rear, and a single-channel ABS system. The 220F has been on sale since 2007, and the updated model has reached showrooms across the country, priced at Rs. 1,39,686 (ex-showroom).

The motorcycle rides on Ceat tyres, with a wheelbase length of 1,350 mm, a ground clearance of 165 mm, and a seat height of 795 mm. Compared to the newer Bajaj Pulsar N250 and F250, the 220F is lighter, has a bigger fuel tank, and a few hundred rupees more expensive than the N250. The F250, however, has a more powerful engine, an all-new tubular frame, and a similar semi-faired design.

The 2023 Pulsar 220F features red graphics and a carbon fibre-like finish on the belly pan, side panels, and front fender. The semi-digital instrument console is also highlighted with the same finish. The motorcycle comes with twin LED tail lamps, split grab rail, black alloy wheels, halogen turn indicators and pilot lamps, projector headlamp, and tall clip-on handlebar.

Overall, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F is a reliable and affordable option for those who prefer a semi-faired motorcycle with good performance and safety features. The updated engine ensures compliance with emission standards without compromising on power or torque.
