Steps to root Nexus Device
- First of all download the Nexus CF Root file from the above given links as per your requirement and extract it to the desktop of your PC. The extracted folder will contain some of these files and image (folder), tools (folder), root-linux.sh, root-mac.sh and root-windows.bat.
- Now you have to enter your device into bootloader mode. To do that at first switch off your Nexus device and then press and hold the Volume Up + Volume Down button and then press the Power Button. Now your device will move into fastboot mode.
- In fastboot mode, connect your handset to your PC via USB and in the extracted folder double-click on the root-windows.bat file. Follow the appearing screen instructions. Now the rooting process will initiate.
- Once the rooting process finishes, click the prompts that appear on your screen and now will be rebooted automatically.
