Audi Sedan A3

Audi, the superb class car manufacturer has often blessed the customers with luxurious and comfortable four wheelers across the globe, though its price range is little elevated. But the constant effort of the German automobile manufacturer to provide the users with all Audi comfort within an affordable price range has finally bear fruits. We think you better conjecture our words. Right readers? Yes, ‘coz the giant manufacturer has finally come up with the brand new luxurious compact Sedan A3 which the company has just introduced in the South African market and the vehicle is expected to hit the Indian market in the Indian Auto Expo, the following year.

While the car has already been introduced in the South African market, it’s expected to go on sell from January Q1, 2014. And you will be surprised to know that this is the cheapest car from the Car major that costs only about R323,500 (almost 19 lakh in Indian rupees) and you will get all latest comforts of Audi in this minimal price including Audi’s two zone climate control, drive select system, a multi-functional steering and MMI. Then what can be the cause of Audi, introducing such a luxury car in such an affordable price, while it’s craze is always in market? We hope, it’s an attempt by Audi to hold maximum market share in  India after challenging the 1-Series and A-Class series cars of Mercedes-Benz & BMW. Besides, Mercedes also plans to introduce its CLA class car in the Indian Auto Expo the next year, along with Audi.

However, the car is being made available in South Africa in both diesel and petrol models. While diesel version of the car is expected to get powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine which bears the capability to churn out the maximum power output of 148bhp and 350Nm of top torque. Conversely, the petrol model supports the 1.4 litre TFSI engine that is capable to provide a couple of power outputs i.e. 123bhp (MT) and 120bhp (AT). And while matter comes to Indian users, it’s expected that the company will launch the Sedan A3 with the 1.8-litre TFSI petrol and 1.8-litre or 2.0-litre TDI power engines.

As per the Indian market condition, the car is expected to be made available within the price range of 22-25 lakh. On the contrary, it’s also expected that the Sedan A3 will be one of the top selling cars in the Indian market. So, let’s wait for the consequence.
