Benelli unveils TRK 250 at EICMA 2018

All of us know that the EICMA 2018 show is swiftly on move in Milan, Italy. For your information, the EICMA Motorcycle Show is organized every year in Italy to showcase all sorts of bikes such as cruisers, ADV bikes, sportbikes, luxury tourers, dual-sports, motocross, and enduro machines from every nook and corner of the Industry. The show also permits the custom bike builders to show off their products that include choppers, cafe racers, scramblers, sportbikes etc and thus a number of new products belonging to the Motorcycle world are revealed for the first time.

Now what we want to share with you in this post is about the much anticipated Benelli TRK 250 adventure tourer which made its public debut in the EICMA 2018 motor show yesterday, 10th Nov 2018. The bike was launched alongside the Leoncino 250 by the Italian manufacturer which will stand a direct competitor to the likes of the segment such as Honda CRF250L, Kawasaki Versys-X 250, Suzuki V-Strom 250 etc. The Benelli TRK 250 is scheduled for the 2019 launch and yet it is to be decided if the bike will be launched in India or not. But it’s assumed to be one of the best in the growing quarter-litre adventure tourer segment.

Now coming to the features, the Benelli TRK 250 will come powered by a 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which can churn out 24.5 bhp at 9000 rpm and develop a maximum torque of 21 Nm of 7500 rpm. The bike is supported by a 6 speed gearbox and has a 41 mm upside-down fork up front and an oscillating swingarm with central shock absorber which carry out the suspension work. Apart, the bike supports a 280 mm single floating disc with 4-piston caliper in the front and a 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper at the back which manages the breaking task.
