Classic 650 in the works! When to launch and how much it will cost
A recent leak that Royal Enfield is planning to launch Classic 650, has taken the internet by storm. Get to know its price and feature details.
Great news Enfield lovers! The company is in the verge of introducing its all-time powerful motorcycle, the Classic 650 which is based on the same platforms as Interceptor 650, Super Meteor 650 and Continental GT 650. Though nothing has been confirmed officially, but a recently leaked document is creating fuss in the market.
However, this can’t be a major surprise as the company already have few motorcycles based on the same platform and “Classic” has been a big name since inception. The leaked document particularly reveals the future plans of Royal Enfield to launch Classic 650 and if it comes true, then it might stand as the undisputed market leader in the segment.
In terms of design, the Classis 650 might resemble the Classic 350 a lot with a circular headlamp and tail lamp, minimalistic-looking fuel tank and broad-chested riding ergonomics. Besides, the Classic 650 will be powered by a 649cc, parallel-twin engine like the other models and the break and its wheels might be like that of the interceptor. Also it’s likely to get an LED light for the headlamps and loads of other features with accessories.
The Classic 650 is assumed to get launched somwehere in the second half of 2023 or by early 2024. While there is no information on price point, the Classic 350 might cost around 3.5 lakhs, ex-showroom.
