First Nitrogen OS Based Android 10 Custom ROM for Poco X3 rolled

Few days ago we had let you know about the brand new Poco X3 Smartphone which is a proud successor to the popular Poco X2. The Poco X3 has been launched with upgraded hardware that includes a 6.67-inch FHD+ LCD 120Hz Display, Snapdragon 732G SoC processor, a 64MP Sony IMX682 primary camera, 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, and a dynamic 6,000mAh battery. Being the cost factor so handy, the Smartphone makes it obvious for many a users in the Indian market.

Just within a month of its launch, the Smartphone received a working port of TWRP and now the first working Custom ROM in the form of Nitrogen OS has been made available for the handset, credit goes to Senior XDA developer xyyx. The new ROM based on Android 10 offers experience almost equivalent to AOSP with features picked from Dirty Unicorns, OmniROM, and LineageOS.

Telling about the bugs in the ROM, the video recording is broken, the Double-tap to Wake feature is missing, and SELinux can’t be set to Enforcing mode. Apart from that, all other functionalities such as calling, internet, Wi-Fi, camera, etc., seems to be working fine.

So if you are a Poco X3 owner and think of installing the Custom ROM on your Smartphone, then make sure that you have unlocked the bootloader of have replaced the stock recover with a recovery image like that of TWRP. Before installation, ensure to take a complete back up of your device as all data in the device will be erased during the update.
