Panasonic CM1, a Strong Contender to Samsung’s Galaxy K Zoom

The elegant Smartphone CM1 from Panasonic holds a 4.7 inch touch screen with 16M colors and 1920×1080 pixels resolution. The Smartphone is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor with Adreno 330 GPU and a Qualcomm MSM8974AB Snapdragon 801 chipset. The Smartphone runs on the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat Operatiing System. For memory reasons, the Smartphone features 2GB RAM and 16GB in-built memory which you can further extend up to 128GB with the help of a microSD card.

As we highlighted the camera feature of the Panasonic CM1, it packs an incredible 20MP camera with 4992×3744 pixels screen resolution and with special features like Leica optics, autofocus and LED flash. This hybrid approach was earlier tested with the powerful Nikon Coolpix S810c in April and it’s just continuation of the same. In comparison to the Panasonic CM1, the Galaxy K Zoom supported a 20.7 MP camera with 5248 х 3936 pixels resolution with support of rich features such as auto/manual focus, 10x optical zoom (24-240mm), optical image stabilization, Xenon & LED flash. Besides, it packed a 1/2.3” sensor with additional camera features such as eo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, HDR, and panorama. It could record videos at 1080p@60fps and supported a 2MP front camera. Then what special you find in the Panasonic CM1? Of course, the Leica Optics feature.

Besides, the CM1 packs many other special features like 2G, 3G & 4G networks support, Accelerometer and proximity sensors, SMS, MMS, Email, Push Mail, IM and many more. For power back up, the device packs a Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery, measures 135.4 x 68 x 21.1 mm and weighs only 204 grams. This awesome device will be made to public in November this year at an affordable price tag of $1170. Initially it will be made available in France and Germany and later will be delivered for the global users.
