Hyundai Exter to launch in India tomorrow, Know about the SUV in details

Hyundai Exter is going to be the third biggest launch this month in India after Kia Seltos Facelift and Maruti Suzuki Invicto. Of course this is not the first article you will get in the web about the much hyped South Korean SUV Exter as before launch, the company has already unveiled a lot of details about the car. While the car is scheduled for launch on July 10 (tomorrow), it has already been listed on the company’s website for pre-booking. The customers also can visit the authorized showroom for pre-booking the SUV.

Hyundai Exter Design

Hyundai Exter’s designs have been created by a team of designers at the company’s global design centers. Telling about the Hyundai Exter design, the subcompact SUV comes with a futuristic design that has H-shaped LED DRLs on the front which sits above the projector headlamps. Further it gets a chrome finish badging on the front bonnet with the company’s logo on the top.

Hyundai Exter Features

Telling about the Hyundai Exter, the car is  is powered by a 1.2L petrol engine that produces 82bhp and 114Nm of torque. It is mated to a five-speed manual transmission or an AMT unit. It comes equipped with a voice-enabled Smart Electric Sunroof that can be opened or closed with a simple voice command. The Dashcam with Dual Camera in the car records footage from both the front and rear of the car which can be stored on a microSD card and can be accessed through the car’s infotainment system.

Safety features of the car is really huge which includes  ESC (Electronic Stability Control), VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), and HAC (Hill Assist Control). It also has standard safety features like ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and a burglar alarm. The spacious interior of the car is enough for five adults and the rear seat can be folded to create cargo space.

Among other features, the Hyundai Exter includes an advanced infotainment system with a 8.0-inch touchscreen display. The infotainment system supports Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and a built-in navigation system.

Hyundai Exter Price

Nothing has been officially revealed about the price tag of Hyundai Exter, but what the reports convey the car might be priced somewhere between Rs. 7.50 lakh to Rs. 9.85 lakh (Ex-showroom). The car is assumed to compete against Tata Punch and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
