Revolt Motors, an Indian manufacturer of electric vehicles, makes the Revolt RV400 motorcycle. It debuted in India as the country’s first electric motorcycle in August 2019. The company has introduced the innovative idea of using a swipe to start your bike. Since the product’s debut, this feature has been in high demand, and three years later, the company has finally incorporated it into their bikes. Users can start the bike using this feature without a key. Users can start the bike with the swipe-to-start feature by simply sliding the power button in the MyRevolt app from left to right. This ground-breaking feature not only does away with the need for a key, but also allows customers to conveniently lock, unlock, and find their bikes using the MyRevolt application.

Features

The 3.24 kWh Lithium-Ion battery that powers the RV400 has a range of about 150 kilometers on a single charge. A 3 kW electric motor on the bike produces a maximum power of 4.2 kW. It has a maximum torque of 170 Nm. The top speed of 85 km/h can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in under 3.9 seconds. It is 108 kg heavy. Regenerative braking, Bluetooth connectivity, geo-fencing, and an AI-enabled system that enables riders to tailor the motorcycle’s exhaust note are just a few of the features included in the RV400. Also, it incorporates a swappable battery system, which allows users to switch out batteries at designated swapping stations to speed up charging.
