It further adds, “it’s a bold claim, but with a 399cc powerplant, true rally-inspired design, 230 mm adjustable suspension, and a 21/18″” wheel split, this new addition to the KTM R stable simply rewrites the rulebook.”

Engine of KTM 390 Adventure R

Boasting of being fitted with the latest generation in LC4c engines, the KTM 390 Adventure range muscles up with 399 cc, more power, smoother acceleration, and lighter overall weight than before. Drawing from years of experience in the small engine game, the KTM 390 Adventure R also features an improved gearbox and an optimized cylinder head.

The KTM 390 Adventure R boasts a 14-liter fuel capacity and exceptional fuel economy, making long jaunts into the faraway outdoors easy. What’s more, the fuel tank represents a central element of the design and engineering, offering excellent ergonomics for riders of all sizes without sacrificing off-road handling.

The bike confidently carves up any road surface, thanks to its low center of gravity, nimble handling, and 21″ front wheel. This also means you can grab a handful of brakes with total confidence thanks to high-tech Cornering MTC, Cornering ABS, and Offroad ABS. These allow riders to apply more power mid-corner on the tarmac and get the most out of the brakes.

Body of the Bike

The bike range features distinctive KTM-style bodywork and graphics, providing excellent ergonomics and an aggressive look inspired by KTM’s vast Rally racing heritage.

This can be seen in everything from the headlight mask to the front fender. The tank spoilers and rear side panels are slightly wider than the seat for optimized control when standing on the pegs, while the shape of the fuel tank is optimized to offer freedom of movement when tackling tricky technical terrain.

The bike is fitted with a state-of -art LED headlight system that can help you navigate with ease even on the darkest of roads. They are designed to be compact so that they occupy a smaller area but work very efficiently.

Even on adventures, you want to stay connected. Thanks to the KTM connect system, the bike range connects to your smartphone, allowing you to make phone calls, listen to music, and use the optional turn-to-turn navigation app, all via the TFT display.

It is worth mentioning here that, the bike major KTM had announced as major recall across several of its high selling models. The Company had issued an official press release in this matter and asked its customers across all markets to get their bikes serviced at the earliest.

The Company said, “At KTM, uncompromising safety, engineering precision, and rider confidence are the foundation of every motorcycle.” To maintain performance and reliability, KTM implemented an immediate software update.

Extensive quality testing revealed a condition that, in rare cases, could cause the engine to stall at low rpms. While only a limited number of cases have been observed, KTM had taken this decisive action to eliminate any potential risk and uphold the highest standards of performance and safety.
