Mahindra all set to launch XUV300 Automatic in March, Get to know the specs and Feature

Mahindra is assumed to launch its new sub-compact XUV300 Automatic in March. Only few days ago the XUV300 was launched and just recently its 6 speed manual transmission supported variant was also made to public. Images of the upcomig sub-compact XUV recently got leaked into the internet.

Price might hike upto 60 Thousand

Mahindra XUV300 is the 4th sub-metre XUV from Mahindra. Before this Mahindra also has launched Quanto, KUV 300 and Nuvosports. While the KUV 300 has been launched in three variants and one optional variant, the base model petrol model starts at 7.90 lac and the base model diesel variant is priced at 8.50 lac. It’s expected that the AMT variant of XUV300 will cost more 60,000 rupees to users.

Magnetti-Marelli to Outsource AMT Units

Apart from the XUV 300 Autometic Transmission model, the W6 variant also has been spotted. According to sources, the gearbox of XUV 300 has been outsourced from Magnetti-Marelli. This company also outcources AMT Units to Maruti. According to sources, the upcoming XUV300 AMT variant will be temporary while Mahindra will launch the new model with its own gearbox.

Might launch in March

The Mahindra XUV 300 Automatic variant might launch in March. The car will be made available in both 1.2ltr petrol and diesel engine variants. The XUV will run on 5000 RPM with 110 PS and on 3500 RPM it will support 200 NM torque. The XUV 300 petrol variant will provide 17km milege per liter while the diesel variant will provide 20km milege per litre. It’s worth mentioning here that the AMT Variant will provide milege equivalent to the manual variant.

Also the CNG Variant will be launched

Design of the Mahindra XUV MAT is inspired by the Mahindra XUV 500. Along with that the CNG variant of the Mahindra XUV 300 is supposed to get launched the next year before introduction of the BS6 standard XUV. By the way, Mahindra has developed the Petrol and Diesel variants of Maindra XUV300 as per the new industry standards. Reports reveal that post introduction of the new rule, there might be a hike in the price of the new Petrol and Diesel variants. The Diesel variant is supposed to get a price hike up to 1 lakh.
