The Ministry of Ayush, Government of India is accepting applications for the position of Deputy Adviser (Yoga and Naturopathy), which would be filled on a contract basis for a period of four years. The pay scale is matrix’s Pay Level 12, i.e., between Rs. 78,800-2,09,200.

The candidates must either hold akin posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department as an officer of the Central Government, State Government, Union Territory, Statutory or Autonomous Organizations, recognized Research Institutions, or Public Sector Undertakings.

Interested candidates should have five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-11 in the pay matrix (Rs. 67700-208700) or equivalent.

The maximum age limit shouldn’t exceed 56 years. Normally, the period of deputation, which includes the hours spent on deputation in a different ex-cadre position held immediately prior to this appointment in the same or a different Central Government organization or department, cannot exceed four years. The mode of selection will be by promotion failing which by deputation (including short-term contract).
