Day by day, the Indian market is getting enriched with Electric cars. The numbers of electric cars is rapidly growing in the country. Even the reputed car manufacturers across the globe have started focusing on production of electric cars. Few days ago, Hyundai had launched its electric car Kona into the Indian market and Tata Motors also had launched the improvised electric version of Tigor. And now the company is planning to launch the electric version of its most popular SUV Nexon in the country.

Nexon to give 300 km Mileage
The new and upcoming electric version of Tata Nexon uses Ziptron technology. As claims the company, the Nexon EV will also be a connected car like the MG Hector, Kia Celtos and Venue, and will include more than 30 smart features which will be enough to meet the user’s needs.
What will be the Price
It’s assumed that the Nexon EV will be launched at a price tag of 15 to 17 lakhs in India and directly it will compete to the upcoming Electric version of Mahindra XUV300. The Mahindra XUV300 is about to get launched by mid 2020 in India. Similarly, Nexon EV will be launched in the first part of the following year.
Will charge 80 Percent in 60 Minutes
Best part of the Nexon EV will be that the users would not need to wait for hours to charge the Nexon EV as it supports the fast charging option using which the car will be charged 80 percent in just an hour. Company has already tested the car with 8 lakh kilometers of ride and it provides 8 years warranty on battery.

Further the Nexon EV will be provided with a permanent magnet AC motor, which will improve torque so that battery will not be drained too quickly. Apart, the Nexon EV can also be charged from a 15A (ampere) power outlet and don’t require additional charging.
