271km milage supported Renault KWID to launch in India soon

Though the Indian Automobile sector is undergoing teriffic slowdown process, still the French automaker Nissan has launched two brand new cars in the Indian market, one is the Compact MPV Triber and the other is the Kwid Facelift. Besides, the Electric version of Kwid is also soon getting launched in India.

But before that the company has launched this car in China with the brand name City K-ZE. The uses would get numerous changes in the electric version in comparison to the petrol version so that the both can be easily distinguished. The Electric Kwid Concept model for the first time was showcased in 2018.

The company claims that the KWID City K-ZE can run up to 271 km in a single recharge. This car packs a 26.8kWh lithium-ion battery which can churn out 43.3bhp power and 125Nm turk. The car has been developed on the same CMF-A platform which is used in the Kwid launched for the Indian market. Specialities of the car are its battery and its electric powertrain.

The KWID City K-ZE is undoubtedly more featured than expectation, apart it also includes the fast charging facility, both AC and DC charging. One DC charger can enhance the battery percentage from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 30 minutes of charging.

Coming to the features, the KWID City K-ZE is featured by a 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system which can be connected to your Smartphone. Talking about the price, base model of the KWID City K-ZE costs 61,800 Yuan which is around Rs.6.22 lakh in India. It might be launched in India at anytime, but its price in India will be around Rs.10 lakh.
